Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you have Minimum requirements for Screenprinting?
    Yes, we prefer to do runs of at least 10 garments at a time as the setup of screenprinting does take some time and effort. We can however, print less than 10 garments if needed - there is just a re-setup charge of $15 + gst for each repeat order under 10 items
  • What is the difference between Screenprinting & Digital Printing?
    Screenprinting is the process of using a mesh-based stencil to apply ink onto a substrate, whether it be T-shirts, posters, stickers, vinyl, wood, or other material. One color is printed at a time, so several screens can be used to produce a multicoloured image or design.
    Screenprinting isn't suitable for some of the new Polyester based fabrics that we are seeing more frequently now
    as the colors from the fabric migrate into the print. For these fabrics, Digital printing or embroidery is often the better choice.

    Our Digital prints are images that are printed onto vinyl media and then cut out & applied to your garment with Heat. These prints are a great option if you need a multi color image on your garment!
  • What is your turnaround for orders?
    Generally we work on a turnaround of 1 week to 10 working days depending on the size of your order.
    If you need something done urgently then we will always do our best to fit it in and get it done for you.
  • What kind of Artwork do you need for embroidery?
    For Embroidery, we need a high Resolution image - this can be any type of file as long as the image remains clear when it is enlarged - this ensures that we have a good image to re-draw your logo from.
    Digitising fees range from $45 - $110 + gst but once we have your logo on file there are no repeat setups unless you make changes to your logo
  • What kind of Artwork do you need for Screenprinting or digital printing?
    We require a high resolution vector image - preferably an editable PDF or EPS file.
    If you don't have a vector image then we can often look at redrawing the logo depending on how detailed it is.
    Setup costs for Digital prints are usually $35.00 + gst
    Screenprint Setups depend on what your logo is like eg. how many colors & what size your logo is so its best to send us an image of your logo and we can quote it for you.
